the sweet sweet ladies from church (who always think of everything, and are always organized) hosted a shower for me. for me! a shower with food and coffee and family recipes and wife-ly advice from all my married sisters and a very meaningful devotional by my own dear mom (did I mention that these ladies thought of everything?). I got to tell my story of how Brett and I finally, miraculously, were brought together, and there were some tears, and some smiles, and laughter. Lots of laughter.
hmmm. and now that I'm thinking of it, I'm reminded that I still need a copy of mom's devotional....
I'm so glad that you loved it and will have sweet memories of that special day!
